"Her tune up here in Japan has gone very well. She has a good appetite and her weight is ideal. She has good results on soft going so I'm not worried about the rain. It's been a while since she's raced against a large field, but our jockey (Christophe Soumillon) is well experienced and I know he'll do a good job."

"The horse is in better form than she was in last year—she's been conditioned well. It's a shame that it's raining today, but all of the other horses will run under the same condition so I can't complain. I understand that this year, the course here has had more meetings than usual. That's why I checked the turf very carefully this morning and I've found out that it would be a big advantage if we could take a route close to the rail turning the final corner."
