Immortal Verse

Immortal Verse (IRE, F3, bay)

- walked about 2,400m, lightly cantered about 200m, walked about 1,000m, cantered about 600m, and walked about 1,600m on dirt course

"She's eating well and in good form. The trainer arrives on Wednesday so her gallop will probably be after that, but I've been in touch with him everyday. We'll do some stronger work tomorrow. She's a laidback horse, which is her strong point. That's why she's never affected by long transportations, and it shows in her speed in the stretch. I'm not a hundred percent sure that she can win the Mile Championship but I do have my fingers crossed."

Sahpresa (USA, M6, bay)

- walked about 2,400m, lightly cantered about 200m, walked about 1,000m, cantered about 600m, and walked about 1,600m on dirt course
(exercised from 7:20 AM to 7:51 AM, ridden by Vincent Vion)

"She has a good appetite and her condition is getting better by the day. It's her third time here in Japan and she's always traveled alone, but we thought we should do whatever it takes for her to win, so we brought along company so that she won't be lonely and be mentally stable. We'll gallop her tomorrow morning. Seeing how she pulls up from it, we'll decide whether she will need to do strong work on Friday. We intend to give it our best shot since this might be her last campaign in Japan."
