<At Kyoto Racecourse>
Weather: Cloudy Going: Firm (turf course)
Dancing Rain (IRE, F3, chestnut)
- walked 2,500m, jogged 600m and cantered 800m on turf course
(exercised from 7:16 AM to 7:45 AM, ridden by Maureen Haggas)
“Her condition is very good. She seemed a bit restless and tired after a long trip from Shiroi yesterday, but she slept well last night and recovered well. We cantered her lightly today. At first, she was looking around at the new track, but she looked comfortable by the second lap. She can take any type of ground, and I think the track at Kyoto Racecourse will suite her well. We’ll do a light canter tomorrow and do a little faster work on Wednesday or Thursday. We’ll see how she feels tomorrow then decide. She’s already fit, so we won’t work her too hard.

Snow Fairy (IRE, F4, bay)
- jogged 1,900m, walked 900m and cantered 1,000m on turf course
(exercised from 7:03 AM to 7:26 AM, ridden by Kathryn Hanna)
“The travel to Kyoto Racecourse was all very fine. We have a good memory of Kyoto Racecourse from last year, and she’s in good form as last year.
We cantered her lightly for five furlongs today. We’ll do another canter tomorrow, and after that, we’ll play it by day. We’ll see how she is tomorrow and then decide on the schedule.”
