<at Nakayama Race Course>

PENTIFFIC (NZL, g7, dark bay or brown)

- light work in underground passage (appr. 20 minutes)
(ridden by Katie Ramsay)

"I didn’t take him out on the track today because the ground is too sloppy and we can’t have him injuring his legs. Today, he’s alert and good, weighing 464 kg. He was 462 kg when he won the Grand National Steeplechase. He’ll improve more with one run in the Pegasus Jump Stakes. With the wet ground on the race day, hopefully they won’t run so hard—so I’m looking forward to it. In the mean time, I’ll look into the Japanese horses. Tomorrow, he won’t be going out on the tracks. We’ll just let him stretch his legs a bit in the underground passage again."
