All JRA Graded races will be open to foreign-trained horses starting from 2010.
There are 122 Graded races (flat) and 40 other races open to foreign horses, a total of 162 races for the entire year.
Also, in celebrating the 30th running of Japan's richest Grade 1 race, the World Super Jockeys Series will be held over the same weekend as the Japan Cup at Tokyo Racecourse.
