At Kyoto Racecourse

SHALANAYA (IRE, f3, Chestnut)

- jogged 1 lap, walked appr. 400m, cantered strongly appr. 1,000m on dirt course
(exercised from 6:15 to 6:35, ridden by Jimmy Simon)

"The track was soft but the horse handled it and was in good form. As far as I can see, she's regained the weight she's lost. I understand that the weather is getting better and that the ground will be firm tomorrow, but I'm not that worried about it. Where she will be positioned during the race depends on the rhythm, so it'll be up to the jockey. I'm looking forward to a clean race where the strongest horse wins."
