<at Nakayama Race Course>
April 16, 2009 (Thursday)
GINOLAD (AUS, g9, dark bay or brown)
- jogged, cantered lightly (dirt course) ⇒ practiced banks, jumped obstacles No.2, No.3 (steeplechase course), ⇒ cantered strongly from 4 furlongs out (turf course)
ridden by Craig Durden from 7:40 to 7:57
"I quickened up at the 4 furlong pole - his work was nice, he just extended within himself. He felt good this morning and I was happy with him. On the steeple course the surface was softer (due to the rain) than on the day of the Pegasus - it was perfect surface for any horse today, and he went straight at the jumps."

"He seems to have recovered from his work and his weight is pretty much the same as when he raced last. His appetite is good, his actions are good and there's not much more we can do. He'll have a quiet day tomorrow and just stretch his legs on Saturday morning."
