<at Nakayama Race Course>
March 26, 2009 (Thursday)
GINOLAD (AUS, g9, dark bay or brown)
- jogged on outer rail of turf track 1 lap, cantered and lightly galloped on stretch (1 lap), practiced banks and obstacles No. 4 & 5 over steeple chase course, jogged 1 lap on dirt course - ridden by Craig Durden from 7:33 to 8:00
"He was very keen and interested, was on the bridle and was happy with himself. He actually jumped very nice today - he drew to them and I never pulled up. He handled the ups and downs much better today, and I'm very happy with him. (Considering the length) we would be happy if we were positioned in the middle in this race, just as long as he's happy. It would also depend on how fast they go. You would think it would be a bit short for him but we just want him to be happy. Hopefully he'll have a good run so we can be positive going towards Nakayama Grand Jump."
