GINOLAD (AUS, g9, dark bay or brown)
-jogged, cantered 2 laps (dirt course) → jumped 3 obstacles (No.4, 5, 1),
→cantered 1 lap (dirt course), ridden by Aaron Purcell from 7:36 to 7:57
"He's kicking off this season a month earlier than his previous two seasons, but this year I didn't give him his normal break in January (as we were aimed in racing the two races here in Japan), and he got fitter a little bit earlier.
He felt fine this morning. The course is interesting but he'd probably prefer a little bit more rain.
I jumped quite slow this morning to show him the fences, but the jockey will ride him go over the obstacles (school more over the hedges) tomorrow.”
