FOREIGN ENTRIES-JAPAN CUP DIRT
At Hanshin Racecourse
TIN CUP CHALICE (USA, g3, bay)
- jogged 1 lap, cantered 1 lap on dirt course, ridden by R. Rideout from 8:10 to 8:25
"We jogged and galloped him for about two miles, like yesterday. He handled today's wet surface well. Everything went well and his run-down seems okay too. Tomorrow he'll do the same training as this morning. We're very happy with the draw. I'll discuss with Edgar and come up with a strategy by the race day."

FROST GIANT (USA, h5, chestnut)
-cantered 1/2 lap, galloped 1/2 lap, jogged 1 lap on dirt course, ridden by R. Rodriguez from 8:05 to 8:20
"We did some light exercise this morning, and the horse is in good condition. I'll have to ask the trainer about plans for tomorrow's training, but since we still have three days until the race, we plan to bring his condition up towards the race. Regarding the post position, the horse might like the inner post -who knows, we'll find out at the race. He handled today's ground well. If the weather is good, the horse is happy, there'll be a larger crowd at the race, and everyone will be happy."

MAST TRACK (USA, h4, bay)
- cantered 1-1/2 laps, galloped 1/2 lap on dirt course,ridden by J. Cuevas from 8:10 to 8:25
" The surface was very wet, very deep this morning, but the he went very well. I have to talk to Mr. Frankel about what he'll do tomorrow."
(Comments taken from J. Cuevas)
"I watched him go this morning and he looked as if he was enjoying himself quite well outside. His weight is exactly the same as it was when they got here -and that's a good sign. I'm not worried about the barrier draw (13)."
