TRES RAPIDE (IRE, f3, bay)
- jogged 1/2 lap, cantered lightly 1/2 lap, cantered strongly 1 lap (1,800m)
ridden by C. Vaillant from 7:00 to 7:15
"We did a 1,800m canter today. The weather is beautiful, she seems to be comfortable and the atmosphere is good. We'll probably ask her to work 1,400 to 1,600m's tomorrow - the last 200m with more speed. She won't go on the turf till the day of the race."

"She's adjusted to the time difference and is in much better condition. We're looking forward to the race. Her strong point is that she's a very obedient horse in nature. She was very relaxed during training this morning. "Tres Rapide" means "very fast" in French and we're all hoping she'll run faster than the other horses on Sunday."

FAIR BREEZE (GER, m5, dark bay or brown)
- jogged 1 lap, cantered lightly 1 1/2 laps
ridden by C. Bonhoff from 7:35 to 7:45
"Her condition is extremely well. We've tried to keep her on the same training program she's uses in Germany. She prefers a softer going, so I think a bit of rain would help. Stefanie will ride her tomorrow on the dirt course, but we aren't planning on any strong work. We have our hopes up because Fair Breeze will be in the race under a jockey who knows her very well."
