A precursory screening was conducted for Equine influenza on NAR registered racehorses at the Nagoya Racecourse of Racing by Local Governments.
During this screening, a positive reaction was observed in one horse.
As a result, the racemeetings scheduled for Nagoya Racecourse on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August 2007 have been cancelled for the purposes of epizootic protection.
