Three horses from the southern hemisphere, KARASI the winner of the 2005 Nakayama Grand Jump and the 2005 Australian Jumper of the year, MERLOS also trained by Eric Musgrove, FONTERA the runner up in the 2005 Pegasus Jump Stakes, arrived safely in Japan on Tuesday 14th March. They all flew in on CX006 and after an hour's van transportation, they arrived at the Shiroi Quarantine Center at about 9:00 in the morning.
Eric Musgrove said on Wednesday morning that both his horses are fit and have nothing to worry about their condition.
Joanne Moss, assistant trainer of Fontera from New Zealand said her horse is recovering fast from the tiredness coming from long-haul transport.
ANGE DE BEAUMONT, the only one to run in the Pegasus Jump Stakes from Europe also arrived safe and sound on Wednesday 15th on JL6462 after an 11hours flight.

All the four horses will move to Nakayama Racecourse early next week to be ready for the Pegasus Jump Stakes on Saturday 25th, the race is the prep race for the Nakayama Grand Jump, the World's richest jump race.
*BLUE CANYON, the other invited horse from France has declined the invitation and will not be traveling to Japan.
