"Summitville has acclimatized well and has been training well since arrival in Japan. She has been maintaining high level of consistency throughout this seasonh says her trainer, Mr. Given. Track at Kyoto Racecourse is expected to be good to firm over the weekend and Mr. Given thinks the going will better suit the runner up of the Sun Chariot Stakes (G1) this year.
Japanese field will be headed by Sweep Tosho, winner of Takarazuka Kinen (G1) and Air Messiah winner of the Shuka Sho (Jpn G1) the last leg of Japanese triple tiara and expect full field of 18 horses in the race.
Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup, summit race for fillies and mares will take place this Sunday, 13 November at Kyoto Racecourse, which is located in the suburb of beautiful city of Kyoto, ancient capital of Japan 1100 years ago. The race will post 15:40 (Japan time) on Sunday, 13 November.
